For years, a crazed fan has plagued New Orleans musician Clementine “Q” Toledano with incendiary notes signed Burn Bitch Burn. Now the stalker is back and this time they’re out for blood.
After nearly a year away, Q returns home to New Orleans only to discover a few things have changed. Her best friend and former lover, Detective Aaron Sanger, has moved on to a new relationship, intent on breaking Q’s heart as badly as she broke his. Her record label is demanding she go on tour with a salacious new act. And Dark Harm frontman, Derek Sharp, is showing his humanity beneath the Rock God persona that Q has always known.
When an intern from Son of Perdition records is found murdered at Derek’s home, Sanger must put aside his feelings for Q and solve the case. In the process, Burn Bitch Burn crawls out of hiding to make good on their threats. Q may have gotten away with murder, but she might not escape with her life.
